Re: Minimum Cost
Let me see if I can explain it clearly...the way you use your phone really determines the way your funds are used...
Daytime Cell (7am-9pm)is charged at .20 a minute.
BoostTime Cell (9pm-7am) is charged at .10 a minute.
Weekend Cellular(9pm Friday-7am Monday) is at .10 a minute.
WalkieTalkie is 1.50 a day. The "day" is determined by when you make your first chirp or answer an inbound chirp until Midnight of that day. You can use it unlimited for the 1.50 from 12:01am-Midnight. The 1.50 will be deducted the following day. If you have less than the 1.50 and you use the Walkie Talkie be aware it may take the rest of the funds and not give you the full 24 hour period.
Text messaging is .10 for outbound, free inbound.
If you have Wireless Web added on the account it is .20 a day, whether you use it or not.
Any purchase's or subsciptions( ringtones, games, wallpapers, applications, Boost Messenger...) come directly off your available funds.
So, if you buy a 20.00 card it is worth 200 minutes during nights and weekends and worth 100 minutes during peak daytime hours....Your phone will give you a message telling you how many minutes you have before every call and that message will change depending on the time of day.
If you have access to an online computer you can monitor your use by setting up "MyAccount" at boostmobile.com....you can also check your funds and add funds thru the handset via "myAccount".
I don't know if that helps Brent but let me know if I can clear anything up or help in any other way !
