Re: Boost Messenger AIM Problems
Boost messenger has proven to be a real nightmare for some....it sounds like you have tried everything possible on your end. Have you contacted Wireless Web Support (866-265-8305) and asked them for any information regarding specific problems with AIM-AOL?
I am not a huge fan of AOL as it is, but you may need to try and contact them for any changes or possible network issues from their end. I am on their site (http://www.aim.com/) and can find no contact number but they do have a way to report problems. Are you getting a specific error message ? As of 12pm last night I am not aware of any reported problems but I am home today and could only advise you try and contact Boost for some answers.....good luck with that! Unfortunately all of my knowledge regarding Wireless Web has been gained by listening to and asking questions of agents within the Nextel WW support team, certainly not from Boost!
If I were at work I would try some basic troubleshooting tools, but I don't think it is a connectivity issue, is it ? You can still access other sites and applications right ?
So any attempts to refresh devices or restart browser would be un-necessary....
I think that from what you have offered so far and from my experience with AOL it sounds like a possible change in service or a network issue on their end....
Let me know if you find anything else out...I can try and ask questions or E-mail AIM for some answers but I think you can handle that better than I, since you have the handset...if you learn anything let me know...Thanks, Jess
