i450 question

Still lovin' my i450 but it does do one WEIRD thing -- it causes noise on my (external) PC speakers! When I power it up, it thinks for a while and then does the 'blinking arrow under the globe' thing (checking for new email?). When it's doing this, I hear fairly loud static on my PC speakers.

And it's not just my home speakers -- it did it to a friends' speakers at work.

Any clues? Anyone else seen this? Is it a bad phone?

Thanks!

I've seen this on other phones, from other carriers. I doubt it is really the fault of the phone, but rather the computer, or the speakers. I suspect the phone has gone through much tighter FCC testing than the speakers did.

sometimes, this happens with all of nextel's phones actually. its not a bad phone, but i guess the freq on the phone overpowers the freq on the speakers or other technologies.. it happens.. if you think it is not good, then you can go to a service center, but there shouldnt be any problems..

if you are concerned then by all means go to one.
