I purchased a Motorola i205 and Boost service in June Circle Cellular (local "authorized" Nextel/Boost rep). I am experiencing connectivity problems. Folks that are trying to reach me receive a busy signal and I have trouble calling out (re-dialing). This happens mostly in the evenings. I have spent many hours on the phone with customer care and several trips to a Nextel service center as well as calling Motorola. Most recently last night on the phone with customer care. They (customer care) are now telling me that the problem is with the services that are trying to call my phone, not with Boost! I can't buy that. No one seems to want to take ownership of this problem. Now I see that the i205 is discontinued and wonder why I was sol...

Well JFJ....I fully acknowledge that we are having some network overloading in the Ohio Valley market...I don't know where you are living but I suspect this is you!I have taken a bunch of these calls the last few weeks and as we add new activations I am seeing an increase in the number just this weekend...it's frustrating. i dont think it has anything to deal with the phone... as you have been mentioning you have been saying that the phone would re-dial and says other issues, which are usually associated with a tower being 1. overloaded and capacity is very low or 2. not working properly due to a t1 problem.

i suggest to talk to the people again and do a few network tickers in those areas that your having problems...

evenings? what time? usually after 11 pm closer to 12 they are working on the towers such as upgrading software and other things..

doesnt matter if it is discontinued becuase it will still work on the network.
