Replying to: do you have any questions?i am a boost rep by maelo Aug 21, 2010, 8:11 AM
The coverage map shows that there is better than decent (but not great) coverage in my area (93433, 93420, 93449, 93401) BUT I have heard from a wireless sales person in both Target and Best Buy that, while Boost is technically a MVNO on Sprint's network, that reception in my area for the MVNO's is and always will be second to those on post-paid contracts (Verizon, AT&T, & Sprint). Is it true that MVNO customers (for instance, Boost customers) are subject to receiving second fiddle access to the network provider's wireless network(s)?
Also, when in an area where the parent network (in Boost's case, Sprint) to the MVNO (in this case Boost) has little to no service, can service be accessed via roaming agreements or another avenue?
Lastly, does ANYONE know specifically how well/poorly Boost works in the Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, San Luis Obispo areas of CA?
Thanks! I am sick of being stuck with post paid over charging!!
