Greetings everyone, my first time posting in the boost section. Just have a few questions..
I've been working alot (setting up fiber) in the Ashland, KY area but my current cell is thru vzw. Their service here is non existent, seriously.. sometimes my phone can't even display the time up here(?!). I was hoping to just get a prepaid phone, and the majority (read: everyone w/ a cell) uses nextel. I was thinking of getting a boost prepaid since I saw them advertised and it was rather inexpensive, like $50 or so. My question is will I be able to obtain a number local to the area I'm working or will I get stuck with a # local to my home (in Mass) that's long distance for everyone here in KY??

Also, if I find one of these phones at a walmart or gas station somewhere, will it already be assigned a number or will that get setup online or via calling CS? ...and to continue when I the fiber ring is all finished and I'm back home in Mass would CS give me a # local to Mass if I decided to keep the service?

Sorry for long and possibly unclear questions..
