Alright thanks. I ended up switching to the 2.2 to get the better service pricing. It still meets my needs. Thank you.

I wish the people on the national carriers would make wise choices as you have. I have Metro PCS and it more than suits my needs at $45 per month.

I am thinking to switch to Boost Mobile after being with Verizon for 7 years as I can not afford their pricing and I want to use a smartphone where I can get free access to the internet for google and email. I would appreciate feedback re: Boost and how they work. Thanks alot.

My wife uses Boost now and service is great. Of course all service is local and could be different where you are.

3G speeds are fast enough for nearly all applications including Netflix.
