I've always wanted to start a first thread! How mant people actually use boost? Just wondering. And: aren't they part of T-Mobile?

Then run off of Nextel's network. I don't know the answer to the first question though.

Ahh. Cool! Thanks! So that makes them part of Sextel (Nint? Sprint/Nextel anyhow!)! Sorry for the bad joke, I just couldn't resist! Nothing personal!

Welcome to Phonescoop users/employees of Boost Mobile!

Yep... I remember Rich saying something about how he wouldn't make a carrier forum for a carrier that had less than a million subs.

So welcome Boost. 🙂

I think you can... I certainly see huge Boost posters in the front window of my local Nextel store, so I don't think they'd be doing that unless you could go in and set up Boost service there.

Might not be all Nextel stores though.

they had 1 million a while ago by the way. i think last quarter they had 1.3 million people or so. amazing it was only in 13-15 markets now its nationwide. 50 percent of the MOU's were Direct connect a pretty good size number but very suprising. i thought it would be higher becuase the phone side like calling side is a little bit more expensive then normal... oh well ... boost and virgin mobile will be the dominiating prepaid services in the marketplace.
