Switching from Nextel

I would like to switch from Nextel phone / PTT to Boost. Can anyone tell me if my i580 will work with the new service and can I bring my current telephone number with me?

Yes it should work with boost.
i have used an i 530 i870 and have 2 i880s running on boost all Nextel branded phones no problems just switch to a boost sim in your next phone as for the porting you may want to contact Boost for that one hope this helps
