Can You Use Any Nextel Phone with Boost

I have a few Nextel phones my friends gave to me. But I was wondering if you can use them with Boost. They are I860 and up models

Yes you can! My friend is using an I860 on boost and all is well... Just remeber to call boost and tell them what phone you have so they can activate the features that your phone is capapble of using!

The i930 is a high end piece of equipment that will work on a limited basis within the Boost system.
Yes, it will work fine as a Cellular and the DC will work but I have to be bluntly honest, we don't support a large majority of the extraordinary features the i930 have on the handset. I have had maybe half a dozen calls regarding troubleshooting issues on this handset and I have been unable to resolve any of them...this has an entirely different menu and the training for this handset is simply not availible for Boost rep's.
All of the phones except one has been assigned to the Nextel system and I have not been able to add the equipment to the account. Nextel does not offer this handset without a contract and 3 of the six were on the S li...

Hi, I'm new to the forum... had to respond to this one though. the two (Boost sim with nextel handset) are not completely compatible. The i930 and the blackberry are marked as specifically incompatible with boost sims and possibly may not even be activated by Boost. Many people do use Nextel handsets; however, if there is a problem with services you may not get troubleshooting help and/or credit. User beware.
