Potential new boost member here

Hello, Last year i bought a i855 phone from BEST BUY and couldn't get it to activate according to the online form i was filling out, It kept saying that my area is not in boostmobile network 🙄 When i look at the coverage map (before i bought the phone) my town is in the yellow coverage area. I was disappointed to find out that the phone could be activated afterwards. I wonder what the deal is?

I had a friend tell me he ran into the same problem and used a zip code from the Dallas area to activate his even though he is 150 miles away like me and the online form on the boost site took the registration that way.

I took the phone back and got a refund. Fast forward a year and i see these phones are still being sold around here, how ...

dont waste your time with boost mobile, if you had trouble activating your phone, u will have problems with everything else, save yourself a headache and get another carrier

your better off activating by phone. i also had trouble doing it on the web so i called and got it all straitened out.
