I work for corporate Sprint and can say for 100% fact that it is true. Sprint has decided to cease the Boost Mobile Unlimited products and services in the markets where it had been sold as this customers placed a strain on the CDMA voice network. There are tentative plans for Sprint to come out with an iDEN version soon.
