Ok so now the rumor is that Cellular One Dobson will be merging with the new AT&T Wireless in Q3 of 2007(currently Cingular but switching to AT&T beginning in early 2007 due to the buyout of Bellsouth)

Just wondering if anyone else has heard anything about this.

doubt it they had to give up allot of wireless spectrum they bellsouth held. I don't think they will be buying anyone in the wireless industry anytime soon!

I hadn't heard anything like this, but as I've said before, if Cingular buys out CellularONE, I'm switching to T-Mobile...

I don't think that's going to happen. Monopoly laws would prevent them from trying to take us over. Cingular already took over AT&T Wireless back in late 2K4 so this rumor can be debunked as AT&T would be in trouble if they tried to take over.

It was front page news in The Daily Oklahoman newspaper yesterday. 2.8 Billion...

The letter we received at work though said it wont take effect until Q1 of 2008 at the earliest.

When I saw the paper at 7-11 on Saturday, I wanted to shoot up the page. The whole package, including bonus and incentives, pushes it up to 5 billion.
