😡

Has anyone else experienced the trouble with this phone? This is the seventh motorola phone I have owned and I have had nothing but problems with it. It drops calls, and will automatically shut off on me somtimes, while I am talking, others just pushing a button. It really has become very frustrating. I have sent it in for repairs. They have updated the software, solved some soldering problem and continues to be nothing but problems. I know of another customer who was given a brand new replacement phone and has the same problems. I have also heard that the V600 also has the same problems. I really think it is a design flaw and Motorola needs to recall them. Please let me know how anyone else has this problem rectified.

😡 I have also had some of the same problems but they only happen once every other month or so. Sometimes my exterior screen becomes jumbled or the phone will freeze. However it is fine once I restart the phone. I do believe there is some kind of a software glitch and it does become annoying.

There was a software update issue that needed to be done w/ the V400s & V600s. Take it to your local store & have the update done. They've since discontinued the V400 & V600 & have replaced them w/ V555s.

Hope this helps. If not... purchase lock/line protection & wait a week & replace cuz it suddenly broke.

I have so many problems with the V400, The earpeice is not working (i have sent it in so many times to get it replaced). My mom bought a phone for $1 with the 2 year plan and it works just fine 😳 . I have to find a new phone this one is just more trouble then its worth. 👿

It would be a great phone if the thing would just work.

i have one of these phones. it's crap! v600 is crap too.
i switched from nokia to this phone because of the hype from the cell one store staff that told me the mot phones are the way to go. i am getting mine fixed under warranty, and keeping it as a spare only. i am buying a nokia for my daughter (unlocked 3620) and an audiovox pda/phone to replace the v400.

The only problems I had with the phone, when I had it, was that every now and then I wouldn't be able to hear anything. The ear piece would sometimes decide not to work. Other people could hear me, but I couldn't hear anything.
