Question about Cellular One/NPI Wireless merger

Does anyone on here know anything about this? My account was set up with NPI Wireless about 3 weeks before Cell One took them over or whatever. My question is about the coverage. I just figured since they bought them that they'd merge their towers or something like that for additional coverage but apparently that's not the case. They (NPI) told me right after I got my phone in October 2004 that they were adding towers is why I guess that's what I was assuming that was what they were talking about. That was before they actually changed the name of NPI Wireless to Cellular One. How does this stuff work? Anyone know? They told me this when I tried to add their wireless internet that they were advertising, only thing was is I had to wait ...

im surprised your not getting any good signal. they bought RFB cell on the other side of the state. not to mention legacy cingular TDMA towers in the traverse area that Cingular sold them.
