No More Speculations, Please!!

Don't mean to sound hateful to y'all mofos, but please STOP speculation on when this merger deal s**t is going to close. I mean, damn, we all know it's going to happen. Just let it ride out. That way, ain't no one's hopes all crushed and whatnot because someone said such-and-such date that it's gonna happen, "I have reliable resources", etc. We all know "reliable" resources do just that. Rely on liars time and time again. I could give a f**k less when it happens. All I wanna know is what will become of certain departments on the call center level when it all starts to unravel. So as a favor, everyone, stop spreadin' around unclarified and unverified rumors. Let the suspense get ya. Speakin' on my peace for this one. Feel free to chime in and...

I'm speculating on whether Doc Drilla will still be employed after the merger. Right now odds are 50/50 but this can be adjusted based on flames and feedback from those participating in this rampant speculation.

1. Only one i see "hating" is him. I've seen more derrogatory comments come from his board posts than anyone elses.

2. We ask things professionally and don't use jive or slang. When I started posting here Doc and another woman attacked me for putting non-work related posts up.

3. My reps don't need to come to this board for answers. They come to me.

4. I'm not denying Doc his right to write wahtever he wants. I'm just saying just like him we all have opinions and concerns but we don't "hate". I'm returning a little to him right now. For future posts, don't act so condesending and we might start liking you.

Hmmm, last time I checked I am in an environment where only professionals work, and that's in a corporate environment. Are you scared of slang? GTFOH with your off-the-mark assumptions and stereotypical comment about Philly blunts n weed. You ever hit a blunt before? Wow, what a fun thread. It seems as tho some deep rooted heartfelt ill feelings amongst employees of different regions of the country are coming to the surface. How, grand!!! It's just another example of how AT&T's swallowing up Cellular One will be a good thing for the customers. Maybe now, rather then having departments fight among themselves regarding who's job it is do to what will cease, and those who are lucky enough to retain their jobs will be able to do what we should be doing - assisting the customer. I can only hope that the powers that be within AT&T have created a better internal structure for how things work and departments interact.

I think it's a ridiculous accusation to say that because there are arguments and animosity between departments that we somehow do a diservice to our customers.

And by stating that starting "unneeded internet drama" is low, you're definitley contradicting yourself.

The only thing I find atrocious is your attitude of me and my reps can do wrong. The Ohio call center has had a reputation of being uneducated and ignorant when it comes to the role of doing a job correctly.

If you want to attack someone on a forum about professionalism, you may want to research the person you are flaming. You obviously do not know Doc or his work ethic.

I also find that you are attacking someones sentence structure and slang while this site offers a spell check and you are still unable to spell correctly.

Perhaps in okc you think we don't know our jobs...believe me..most of us in Ohio think the same of you....bottom line is that we aren't on the same page...we have different policies on alot of things...doesn't mean we don't know our job. I figured people would get all worked up about what I posted. Again, I spoke my peace, and the reason I posted this is because I had heard so many speculations about when the merger was all happening and quite frankly, I got sick of the s**t and decided I wanted to speak on it. Even aside from the slick s**t that Ninja posted (yes, I got yo' English and commie college response, and that's why you try to call yourself a Ninja), everything's been all cool. If you can't vibe with straightforward and outspoken folk like me, tough s**t. The world's full of them.

So of course we finally got the official announcement that we are now owned by AT&T, it's still gone be business as usual for me and the rest of the crew until they decide what they go...

Dear Doc Drilla,

Everyone in the NY area and myself find it entertaining for hours to read your posts. They are single handedly the most illiterate and profoundly dumb statements we have seen in a long long time. I think you should focus less on being a "gangster" and more on applying for unemployment. Mostly because the at&t wireless call centers and tech support departments are more than large enough to handle the relatively small influx of customers Dobson will bring. Secondly because at&t most likely requires a higher standard of grammar and personality in their employees.
