I quit from AT&T Wireless about 6 mos after the Cingular Overlords took over. I go to AOL and they closed their doors back in January. Now CellOne is going to AT&Tingular...

No telling if they will assimilate us or just cut us some crappy severence package like AOL did.. ARGH!

can you get better that unlimited mins for $55 nope so who is talking crap????? over 75% of the new acts I do are unlimited.....no all them customers who were crying for rollover mins can really start crying now and kiss the best plan in wireless goodbye.......

Yeah the unlimited plan is great but they approve everybody and 30% of these sales are deactivating in the first few months and as the dealer I feel that pain. But I guess when you sell a cheap plan with cheap service you get cheap customers that can not honor a contract for even six months let alone 24 month. So I welcome the change, to get better handsets and hopefully better customers willing to pay there bills!!

Huh? I sell almost a hundred Unlimited plans a month from my retail store, and like 2 or 3 might chargeback... decreasing cancels is all about properly educating your customer at the time of activation. I can't believe you have 30% of your activations charging back!
Being AT&T will not increase the inherent quality of your customers! lol
Different phones will draw in more people, but those phones will still be using the "cheap" network that Dobson has built up. You know, that cheap network that was the top rank service out of the 6 major carriers in vital network metrics, beating out AT&T, T-Mobile, Nextel, Sprint, and finally Verizon, in the massive NY3 market...

I AM WITH CELL ONE FOR A YEAR NOW YOU CALL US CHEAP CUSTOMERS i PAY 123.00 DOLLARS AMONTH YOU CALL THAT CHEAP YOU MAKE TO MUCH MONEY i PAY THAT MUCH AND DON'T EVEN GET SERVICE WHERE i LIVE THEY KEEP SAYING THEY'RE WORKING ON IT 12 MONTHS OF IT THEY'RE DOING NOTHING BUT TAKING MY MONEY LIEING YOU KEEP BLAMING THE CUSTOMERS BUT 12 MORE MONTHS AND ME AND MY FAMILY WILL BE GONE

well after reading that I would say he/she didn't because they kept telling him they were going to add service there.

Now I don't beelive anything I am told unless the CEO comes out and says it or a press release as reps tend to give out any info. True false anything they might have heard.

well, working in customer care, i have learned to make sure to verify when things are done.

i have service through cingular/att, so each time i make a change to the account, i call on it 3 times, usually back to back to confirm everything that the previous person said and make sure it was added to my account.

At work today a friend said he heard att on the news say they was going to make everyone sign a new contract wondering if anybody else heard of it or knows anything about it. thank you
