Coverage

So question to all the Cellular One employees, is there a map of your coverage anywhere? I'm with AT&T just looking to see where we will gain but I cannot for the life of me find a map of your coverage. The website seems pretty shotty in itself, I guess you don't have coverage in your corporate headquarters town. And is it true all your stores are in Alaska or is the page just stupid?

Anyway, welcome to the new AT&T.

I tried that using a Wausau Wisconsin zipcode, and it shows coverage for southern Wisconsin, which is roaming (free roaming, but still roaming). The OP wanted to know Dobson's native coverage area. The coverage maps show all areas that are native coverage, plus free roaming for areas that Dobson has roaming agreements with the other carriers. Wirelesswavelength.com is the closest anyone will get to native coverage for Dobson. On that site, the only map that was updated was the Alltel cellular map, showing all the acquisitions they made over the last few years. Since Dobson will be sold soon, I ...

A much better depiction of their coverage area than wirelesswavelength does. It'll be interesting if any areas that do overlap will be forced to be divested. I'm aware though there is little overlap, but for areas in Texas & Kentucky, AT&T might end up with A & B side cellular licenses, like what happened in areas where then Cingular had the B side, while AT&T Wireless had the A side, and areas of Texas, Florida, and Maryland, Cingular got to keep both. It might happen again with this buyout in Texas (again) & Kentucky. Most of AT&T's Michigan coverage is PCS, which might not be a ...
