Cell Towers On I-84 in PA

I have Verizon, but I have an extended network using CellOne. I use 84 for college until May, and I just traveled that road (I-84) last week and I noticed that I have a digital extended area now. Has CellOne actually started to get out of the analog age?

CellularONE is a GSM provider so if you're using their system but have service with Verizon, a CDMA provider you will be using CellularONE's analog system (if they still have it up after converting from Analog to TDMA to GSM.) It is possible that you are using another carrier's system (such as Sprint) or that CellularONE now has CDMA on their towers to permit roaming.

Cell 1 is not just a GSM provider. They still maintain their TDMA network. They dont have any CDMA

Dobson must continue to operate their AMPS network (which you must be roaming on) until at least 2007 or 2008 when FCC restrictions allow them to begin to shut it down.
