Unless something's changed, Cricket does not own their own towers. They "borrow" the towers of other carriers. So they are a very low priority when it comes to room on the tower, since the tower's owner's customers are higher priority. This means you may have problems making and receiving calls that you may not ordinarily have. I've called people with Cricket and received an error that they've traveled outside of coverage. I call them again half an hour later and find out they were just sitting in their living room. Hadn't moved at all. Honestly, I wouldn't buy Cricket ever. I don't care what they try to offer unlimited. It's not reliable enough for me.
