The most ignorant thing I ever heard...

We just started cricKet in Louisville. My ears have had the misfortune to hear probably the dumbest thing in my life. Somehow there is a rumor that cricKet is owned by the police or government and cricKet phones are tapped. This is ridiculous and NOT TRUE. I know unlimited minutes, unlimited text and picture messaging with no contract or deposit sounds too good to be true, but it isn't; The rumors are just that rumors, not true. cricKet has arrived, so get a phone!

can buy mine. It's just a few months old and I might have to buy a new one when I change to a another provider who doesn't text spam and lie to their customers. I've had Cricket for years and for years I've been trying to get them to stop bothering me with those annoying "Refer a friend" spams. On the rare occasion I've been able to get through to talk to an actual human, they have promised to stop, on told me I had to reset the phone to initiate the changes, which I did, and got another text spam a few hour later and manyu more sense. And they have yet to answer my emails with anything more that the auto-ignore reply.

I've had enough. I don't like spammers or liars, and Cricket is both.

over 5 years ago when cricket came to memphis, this was the rumor....then some enterprising genius decided to make some money by TAKING the BUG out of the cricket phone.....it was the old nokia 5170 and 5185, they removed the antenna contact and it rendered the phone useless.....
