Which Phone?

by Mommii_Sarah    Dec 18, 2009, 1:18 PM

I recently bought my 2nd Motorola Hint in early October. The 1st one I had, I dropped outside of my college, it went down the steps and wouldn't charge after that. Anyway, I bought my second one and the charger port thing, whatever you want to call it, is going out. Every time I plug it in to charge I have to be very careful not to nudge it or anything or else it'll stop charging, it goes off saying 'charging' 4-5 times like the plug is getting loose inside the phone. I've taken extra great care with this one since the last Hint I got had charger problems too, it would constantly say 'Unauthorized Charger' which I've never seen a phone say before lol. But I can see that this phone, and I'm guessing all Hints in general have charger port thingy problems, I'm not going to buy another one, they're too expensive, plus I don't think my insurance will cover another one since I bought it off eBay and a Cricket store rep (not from a corporate store though) told me they wouldn't cover something that wasn't bought directly from one of their corp stores or authorized dealers. Anyways, before this gets too long, I've seen that Cricket now has a bar phone with a full keyboard (gotta have that lol)called Cricket MSGM8 for $140 and was wondering if anyone here has one and if they're worth buying, or should I buy the Samsung Messenger II..or something else?
