well did you fully flashed the phone? because when its not fully flashed the phone usually do loose those feautures, regardless of what company you are going to, i know that because i bought an htc pro on a cricket store, and it was fully flashed and i can use data and mms, and basically everything that cricket offers,

and about the rep asking about video... well i'm not quite sure, Confused why they told you that, but
