No. I think Metro will get them if they are not outbid. They tried to acquire Leap in the past and were rebuffed. It makes perfect sense. I am just hoping that none of the Big Four (well...the Big Two and smaller two) is allowed to buy them.

You shouldn't. Besides, if you read the news articles posted on this site, you'll see that Cricket just bought Pocket Wireless in Texas, I doubt Leap is going to close Cricket anytime soon.

I just left Cricket and was talking with some of my former co workers and they're not worried about Cricket going completely out of business. Leap is running out of money to sustain Cricket. They are trying a lot of different things including taking away the first month free and adopting MetroPCS' philosophy of charging the first month up front. hahaha in what way? other then talk with no guaranteed texting in roaming areas? No MMS in any extended coverage area! no WAP...yep sounds way better then Sprint. This was the problem with working at Cricket everybody is in their own little Cricket world. Cricket is talking about their 3G going 1.5 MBS, While ATT, Verizon, and T-Mobile talk about 7 MBS and 21 MBS within the next year. Cricket will be MetricketPCS or CrickoPCS by July

I just have to laugh at that. We just brush them off at my provider. They bit a little bit in the 4qtr but like we suspected our pace on our prepay market has gone back up. Has actually increase some. Their just annoying like the actual insects. No worries here.
