Okay, I’m about at my wits end with this problem. I recently bought a Motorola Hint, I’ve had the phone before, but I dropped it and it wouldn’t charge after that. So I bought an Evoke (I really wanted to see what it was like) and it’s an okay phone, never had any problems with it. But I paid a lot of money for that phone, and it can’t send or receive picture texts, you have to do it through e-mail or Picasa and I got tired of that. So I bought the Hint again, and now I’m having problems sending and receiving picture texts. It will sit there saying “Connecting…”, and do nothing, then it will say the message failed. At first when I would check the message details, it would just tell ...

Well I went to another Cricket store yesterday and they finally were able to fix my problem! I guess when I transferred my number from the Evoke to the Hint they didn't take off that $15 extra charge that you have when you have an Evoke and that little charge was what was messing everything up. I knew it had something to do with the Evoke since my old Hint was doing the same thing and I had never had problems out of that phone until right at that moment. Plus the other night I noticed that my web browser said "Cricket Evoke". So for anybody who has an Evoke and switches to another phone make sure they take that charge and anything that has to do with having an Evoke off your account or you could have problems just like I did. I'm just happy ...

dont give up hope yet ! depending on when you purchased your hint! from the sounds of it it seems like you got it when they first came out! the best thing to do is communicate with the rep, since cricket has alot of customers and new coverage areas open everyday id try and update you phone by doin *228 at least once evrytwo weeks .also try turning your phone off so it can get all the new updates as far as towers.where r u located ,maybe i can refer a store to help u !

Actually I've already went into another Cricket store and they fixed the problem with no problem lol. I guess when I originally transferred my number to the Hint they forgot to take off the $15 extra monthly charge that you have when you have an Evoke and that little charge was messing everything up with the Hint. The night before I went to the second store I had also noticed on my web browser said "Cricket Evoke", so maybe my Hint thought it was an Evoke? Lol. The lady took the charge off, refreshed my account and reprogrammed the phone and sent a couple pic texts to make sure everything was okay and it was. She also said that the first store that I went into probably wasn't a corporate store, which I have no clue what's the difference now ...
