Hi Everyone!

I'd like to use a non-cricket phone with my cricket service. Can I use an unlocked phone to work with cricket? Has anyone tried www.mobileliberation.com which offers unlocking directions? Any advice or experience in these areas, I hate being stuck with the few phones they offer.

Thanks!!! 🙂

The phone would have to be a cdma 1.9 phone that was unlocked and flash with cricket software which only cricket have the software or some phone distributors. So it would be very difficult. 😁

You don't need the cricket software so much as you need the cricket PRL, they have OTA updates in my are but I don't know if it will program everything needed. I ran it a couple times but the PRL version has never changed from 1030.

A cell repair shop in phoenix said they could reprogram the sprint phones to work on cricket as long as it was unlocked.
