Need error code definition
Hi, experts!
I have a problem. I sold a phone to someone, and they took it to Alltel and tried to get it changed. Alltel techs apparently are **!@#$#, and they tried and tried, and then tried to upload software, all with no success.
Now the phone says "rdm failed". What does that mean? Can we put the SPC in and fix this or does the phone have to go in for repair?

Sounds like Alltel doesn't understand how to provision a phone. You can call up a USCC store or customer service and get the SPC from them. You just need the ESN. Also what kind of phone is this? That error code doesn't sound familiar.

Hello, again. The phone says ROM FAILED. Can anyone tell me if loading software into the phone will fix this or if it has to be sent to Audiovox?
