New Phones on USCC

Everyone's favorite subject, new phones being offered by USCellular...

I have been with USCellular in the piedmont Virginia area for 2 1/2yrs and have been for the most part satisfied with the service. However, I've had the same 'free' Nokia 5185i since signing up. I'm considering a new telephone, maybe even switching carriers to *gasp* Alltel to see how the other half lives. It seems their plans are a little better and phones a little less expensive (US Cellular and Alltel offer almost identical lineups of phones), but I've also heard almost nothing but bad things about their network. I'll probably stick with USCellular.

Does anybody have recommendations on what phone to go with? I thought I might go with the VX6000 until I realized t...

I have heard that we will be testing several more smartphones in the future but I don't know any specific model numbers. We will be testing the Motorola v810, maybe the v710, those would be the closest to what you're looking for

justpeachy is right on the head on this. we are working on other smart phones, but at this time the kyocera is the only one in our line up. however, there is one drawback to the kyocera, it is not brew enabled, and will not allow access to Easy Edge when the service is released out there. with that in mind, the kyocera has a lot of great features and benefits still.
