USC Predictions

This was once such a great place to work. Anyone care to make any predictions. This forum seems very quiet about USC. what is going on over there???

Well I would predict that USCC gets bought out, but I don't think any of the big carriers are interested in them at this point. The company is a textbook example about how a company went from being a great customer service, employee satisfaction company to pure garbage in just a matter of months. The company is too interested in their stock price and Wall Street to care about anything else and their stock performance shows it. It's now ran by incompetent goofs.

My prediction-done. Nobody wants to pay top dollar for a company bleeding customers left and right. Their stock will eventually go down to the low 20s and that's when one of the big 4 will buy them (just for their spectrum). They missed the boat on selling out back in the mid 2000s when they could have got top dollar. Verizon tried to buy them in early 2008 for $100 per share and TDS (parent company) refused. It led to two of TDS' biggest stock holders filing a lawsuit asking to know why they weren't notified of a buyout offer and TDS told them it was due to a "super secret" study that concluded they should not sell.
