I'll tell you why that is. The sales reps have had their pay cut in half and are expected to do more work for less pay. Second, the senior leadership at u.s. cellular doesn't give a rats ass about the front line as they are trying to do everything in their power to take away commissions such as cheaper phone prices online, waived activation fees online, waived equipment fees on lines, higher quotas, and so forth. Third, the belief plans did not have the growth expected and instead have had quarterly losses 7 quarters in a row. Lastly, the sales reps handle everything such as sending phones out for repair, handling phone problems, and technical issues. Of course they want to get you out the door as quickly as possible. If you're having an issue with your phone, the sales rep doesn't get paid on that. If you need to upgrade or add a line, they will take their time with you because you're putting money in their pocket. I know this sounds terrible, however, I'm only being straightforward with you. Its all about the money now instead of the customers.
