I was wondering where in Iowa would LTE be available. I know that Des Moines and some other city have it. But will it be any coverage outside of central Iowa?

So would it be worth my wait till the new smart phones come out this fall even if I don't live in that area?

Well, if you want a 4G eventually, you would want to wait until the 4G devices are available. That being said, I don't know how long it will take for LTE to launch in other areas. I would get a phone now if you want/need it. If you are on a Belief Plan you can use your points to upgrade when those speeds are available in your area.

I wouldn't let 3G v. 4G speeds effect my decision but I may not use my phone the way you want to use yours. 3G works just fine for me.

I want a good quality phone that's fast. I seen somewhere that the Motorola Atrix would be coming this fall. I kinda like HTC and Motorola phones. I'm big into new tech and i have a good understanding of it.

The Atrix MIGHT be coming this fall. Nothing is every 100%.

In my opinion, I would wait. If you would upgrade today the soonest you would be able to upgrade with your points is a little under one year from now.

4G phones are far better than the 3G phones. Moving from single to dual-core technology coupled with front facing cameras and a suite of other features makes the 4G phones far better than the 3G phones currently out. I would wait...but that's just me.

speedracr226 I would have to agree that is what I am waiting for. But for now where I live it will be awhile till 4G reaches this area. So that raises my question are 4G phones down compatible with 3G?
