The Device Management team is pleased to announce the forthcoming launch of the Samsung Gem(TM) on April 1,2011.
It is a full touch screen device with a virtual QWERTY keyboard. The Samsung Gem is an Android device launching with Froyo otherwise known as 2.2. As well as supporting the Google Suite of Services this device also features a full HTML browser, Multiple Customizable Home screens, 3.2 megapixel Camera, Auto-sync of Email and Contacts, Corporate and Personal Email as well as WI-FI, and Stereo Bluetooth.
The Samsung Gem will begin shipping from NDC on March 29th. Stores can begin selling this device as soon as it arrives. We expect all stores will have inventory by April 1st.
