Go with the v810?

My first two year plan is comming to and end and I'm ready to move on from my Kyocera. I'de been looking at the 810 and now that the price has dropped I am strongly considering getting it within the next week or so. I don't want to spend a whole lot of money on a phone and would rather not go with the vx6000 because I don't care for it. Would the v810 be a good phone for me? What are the tentative prices on the upcomming releases?
Thank you.

You don't say what your needs are so it is hard to say which phone would be right for you. I will take the opportunity to say that I think there are two phones that stand out in the USCC lineup. The V810 is a great phone and even more attractive with the price drop. It is a camera phohne and if that is what you want then go with that. The other phone is the V262 which is also a great phone and probably will sell for $40 - $50. It does not have a camera, costs less and has great features. I you don't want to bother with a camera or are not allowed one at work then go with that one.

Well for another $90 you could get either the new Kyocera Koi or Motorola V710. I have been using the 810 since USCC launched it in September and I'm not a big fan. The phone is a pain to charge, the vibrate feature malfuntions all the time and the camera is sub-par compared to the 6000. USCC will release the Koi on or about November 24th and the V710 sometime around December 1st. I've seen both phones and used both. They are extremely nice phones that put the V810 to shame plus their features are high tech enough to make them top line for some time to come.

I'm a college student so I don't really have any needs or restrictions workwise. I wouild liek a camera phone and really like the 710 but 250 is too expensive for me. I don't have a lot of money to spend. How much will the KOI be?
and how big is it?

I've looked at the 810 and like it, like the size and everything, I'll probably end up going with that because of the price of the new phones and then maybe in two years i'll be able to afford the 710 haha. 😛

The KOI is going to be almost as expensive as the V710, $230 with a $39.95 2 year contract. 😳 Spiffy phone, but also a big price tag
