Any idea when the new Torch is hitting USCC? I noticed Sprint launched theirs today and I was hoping that US Cellular would roll it out at the same time.

I've contacted my lo local retail store and 611- I get the same answer: "We're hoping by the end of the month". I'm hoping that's true.

I think August 26th, but I can't find that date on the USCC website.

Awesome! Thanks for this... I saw that USCC put it up on their website as "coming soon" so I figured it would be within the next few days. I know what I'll be doing (or at least trying to do) on Friday.

Im an Android person myself, However I used to carry the Bold and liked it, just didnt have all the kewl apps like Android market. With that said I actually thought that this phone was half decent especially for US Cellular, I wouldnt mind carrying a blackberry if they would get apps like the Android marketplace has, Blackberry App World=Crappy Selection. I do love the BB Messenger though!!!!!

I got the phone on Friday. It's a huge upgrade for Blackberry. Talking with the associate at USCC she mentioned they received about 70 in their store. I purchased mine around 6:30pm and she claimed there had already been about 20 sold.

Not much interest here.

Mostly Android. Good effort by RIM but their obstacle still remains the hurdles developers have to jump to release apps.
