you are given a lot for that 5.00 over premium phones. I do agree it would be nice to get something included like text or a discount for mulitiple. We are already 5.00 less for smartphone plans then the others and the devices already give u a lot more like:

The syncing capability of the phone. (Calandar, Notes, E-mail ect...)
The teathering ability
An app store to get free and paid apps
Streaming Audio App(Slacker Radio and Pandora)
orginizational function for securly storing passwords and other confidential documents.
Wifi on all new devices going forward

I am a little biased because I love my Blackberry and I would recommend the 5.00 extra cost anyday!

consider that VZW, AT&T and Sprint charge 30 for BB/PDA data. Tmobile charges 30 just for data, no email. Text plans, were just the same, regular net plans were the lowest...

I can tell you that chances of this will be slim. This is a HUGE revenue source for US Cellular. In order for US Cellular to make network improvements and continue 4G roll out.

This type of revenue sources are vital for any carrier to continue to roll out new products and phones. Also, please consider that USC does not pocket that full $25.00. A good portion goes to RIM.

Anyway, the only way I see a Blackberry family plan happening is if USC's hand is forced by competition. Similar to the $99.99 Unlimited Plan being dropped to $69.99. It was only done to remain competitive.
