LG Tritan question
Have a question for you US Cellular guys.
I have been looking at this phone very closely since its release, and have been happy with what I have seen so far. My queation is for the people who have sold it, played with it, or own it...what are your thoughts on the phone?

I don't have one but a buddy of mine did have one, he really liked his; did everything he needed it to do. He did have one problem with the phone freezing up on him and decided to switch out for a BB. Other than it locking up he really liked it. If you're wondering why he swapped it out, that's just the way he is(a fancy man)here is the phones he has had in last 4 months Moto v9m uscc, iphone att, palm pre sprint, tritan uscc, BB uscc.

I LOVE MY TRITAN! Best phone I have ever owned with USCC. It does everthing I need it too. I love getting my email, facebook, myspace and full html internet browsing. Also it takes amazing pictures. You can have a shuffle option so you don't have to look at the same picture all the time. Also there is a shuffle on the ringtones. I haven't had very many probles with mine freezing. It does powercycle randomly, but nothing major. All in all I think this is the best phone in the line up, excluding smartphones!

I think it is a great phone with some minor software problems.

Well with all the information I have read (Thanks for those links btw), I'm going to go ahead and get this phone. I understand the freezing is an issue, and have been advised by USCC that there is a fix in the works with LG. I'm ok with dealing with that until the fix is made official.

sounds like that software update may be hitting service centers shortly. hope so, weve seen a fair share of these with issues. nice phone tho 🙂

Just got one yesterday, confirmed it includes the new update. So far its beena dream to use...

Ok, so, I've gone into US Cellular several times in the last month, and I was told that the Tritan was backordered, and they had no time frame of when they would get more in. Anyone have a guess?

Depends where your located. I will have a shipment later in the week. (northern Chicago suburbs)
