Just did the *228 and am now getting EVO east of Madison Wi. Hope not just a test. Speed is much higher.

I have customers in and out all day today asking what the red or some instances white EV is on there phone. . . does cut in and ot though but it's in Madison! 😁

i think its funny. . . all the staff at my store were suppose to get the EVDO early and I still have yet to get it. . . I've had customers non stop asking why they have the red EV and I have no signs of it! weird. 🤨

Have you done the *228 prl update?? You will not pick up the EV signal if you do not have a EVDO PRL.

So when does Central Sisconsin get evdo? I noticed it in Milwaukee and north up as far as Janesville when I went to Milwaukee this past week. Does it affect anything other than phones that are capable of surfing the web or using Easyedge? I didn't notice any difference using the phone as a phone or sending text messages. My Razr2 picked it up until almost into Madison.

Did a *228 PRL update with my Moto Razr V3m today, as I had been dropping calls the past few days (at my office directly across the Kennedy from USCC Corp. HQ at O'Hare).
Wouldn't you know it? The EV(DO) red icon lit up.
So EVDO has finally made it to Chicago.
Trouble is I don't use Easy Edge so what benefit will EVDO provide me?
