Porting Cingular prepaid to MetroPCS
I'm trying to port my cingular prepaid number to a new MetroPCS phone and the rep in the local MetroPCS store doesn't thin kit can be done. Tips? Advice?

it will work but you will need to contact cingular customer care to get your account number and sometimes prepaid can take longer that a post paid, also keep in mind that you will need minutes on the cingular untill the port is complete and just as soon as it ports over you will lose whatever remaining minutes you had left
