How is MetroPCS's service in the SF Bay Area nowadays? When I left in March of this year it was pretty bad (dropped calls, no signal at peak hours, etc.) Just curious to how it is like nowadays. Have they gone through and fix problems? I was using mostly in the San Jose area.

I had a similar issue with Metro PCS in that area. I tried a friends phone and it is surprisingly better, although I still get some dropped calls. Nonetheless, it has improved.

give these guys some time. remeber sprint back in the days ? i couldn't get any signals in the building. i had to go near a window to make a call. now look at them today. their signals are strong then ever. i have to say better then any GSM networks. i use metro cuz im underage (no credit) and i work in an area where cingular/tmobile dont have signals and you have to go to the other side of the block to make a call. i didnt have to do that for metro or my old service verizon. my coworkers have sprint and they all work in our store just fine. so yea just give these guys some time.
