No, metro pcs has lots of customers in local areas. MetroPcs isnt nation wide like verizon, tmobile, and etc. But really, Metro pcs is better than having a home phone. Its cost just as much or less. you get unlimited minutes. and you can take it any where in your metro areas. But its not a company you want ot consider if you want it to work in rural areas or out of town. I had Metro Pcs and their service is decent. It works where ever i want it to work locally. Which I get my money worth. $30/35 a month is great.
