There is no way to reset the phone without wiping everything out. If you have a memory card i suggest you go to content manager and move everything to the card. when you select all and go to copy/move make sure you switch it to MOVE so that you wont have two copies of everything. you can move downloaded apps by going through file manager. If you do not have metrobackup i suggest you go into a corporate store so that they can use a transfer machine to store the numbers.

There are two ways to master reset the phone
1) go through settings and reset phone. the pin will always be the last 4 digits of your phone number even if you have a personal password

2) turn the phone off. turn it on and when the samsung logo pops up press the top left key and the return key at the same top. a black screen will show up asking to reset of exit
