I think the new Blackberry coming down to Metro PCs this summer "most likely" would be the new curve 8530. Metro has a long history of not bringing the latest models.

Also in reference to the boost berry I heard, but not sure, that their web is faster becuase they are conected to Sprints network. What I do know as a fact is that they offer a bigger footprint coverage.

On the other hand Metro might have some feature you could be interested too and rumor has it they will start with LTE network by the end of the year, but it depends mostly on your needs at this moment.

Finally to answer your original question, if you bring a blackberry from Verizon ---Flash Phone---- you will loose most of its functions resulting in only having text and talk and with some tweaking that requires extra researching and knowledge or perhaps paying someone you could get the phone to use mms and web. What you could never get with a flash blackberry is "BIS" which is only dedicated to branded phones and will prevent you from taking advantage of the main feaures of a blackberry, ex: bb messenger, push email, etc

Hope this helps.
