While traveling into Windor, ON from Detriot, MI is there any coverage from the US side into Windor on MetroPCS? Looking to avoid roaming if at all possible with a US phone plan.

Along the river front and even into Downtown Windsor you should be able to get some Metro PCS signal. I wouldn't rely on it if you're living on the Canadian side though.

My test revealed it switched to Roaming (ROGERS Wireless-Canada) as I drove around Belle-Isle along the Canada-facing side, but quickly switched back to MetroPCS near the Yacht Club. I didn't have funds on MetroConnect so the call dropped.

You must have a magic phone as Rogers uses GSM and Metro PCS uses CDMA technology. 😲
