Again I say, you're not going to get everything you want for $50 per month.
GPS works great on the Code. Google maps will work on the Code. Will it allow you to be located using the GPS functionality? I'm uncertain.
Web is painfully slow for big projects. If you need to quickly check an e-mail or refer to something on a website, it's fine. If you want something fast, once again...different network.
If you're looking for a smart phone to use on MetroPCS I believe the only real option is the Code as it works in AWS markets.
Agreed. I like Metro as well but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for" If only Metro had EVDO in my market and an Android handset, I would have stayed with them. In all honesty, web surfing on a Metro phone in a 1x only market is a painful experience. But like someone mentioned if you want all the perks, a $100 cell phone bill is the consenquences.
I'd just go to T-Mo and get the Get More Unlimited. Better yet, find a decent used T-Mo smartphone on ebay or craigslist and get to the Get More Plus instead. No credit check, no deposit, no contract, no bull$hit just like Metro.
