Take it easy! Not everyone here works in wireless, myself included. I once had a reseller tell me "bluetoog" technology was what talked to the towers from my cell phone to keep me from dropping calls.
That said, i-Phone is only available in GSM and therefore cannot be activated on a CDMA network. The majors using GSM are AT&T and T-Mobile. CDMA networks include Sprint, Verizon, Metro PCS, and Cricket.
Sorry, I myself am not in the wireless business other than paying both MetroPCS and AT&T about $200/month combined. I certainly don't think that makes me an industry expert but one who does read the specifications of the phones I have purchased (including a Samsung Finesse R810 for MetroPCS and my 3rd iPhone 3GS for AT&T).
So my suggestion still stands.
