Does anyone have current information of the merger of metroPCS and Leap Wireless(Cricket)?
I have heard rumors of this situation. Excuse me if I'm wrong but I have heard that in the end of the 3rd quarter of 2009 metroPCS and Leap Wireless(Cricket) will be starting to have their conferences with each other face to face and discuss about the merger and the expansion with each other. They are already roaming in each others spectrum. If so you have information on this situation feel free to give me information because it would be better service for metroPCS and Leap Wireless(Cricket) customers to have them merge. Thanks! 😁

Any merger talk between these two carriers is simply rumors at this point. Leap rejected Metro's offer in the past.

Whether it's good for the customer or not really depends on who the dominate company is. Metro offers a lot of really good programs (their family program for example). I think it would be just fine if Metro is the dominate carrier.

Well you have a point but recently in September 2008 they signed a Ten year roaming agreement. And I have to agree with you with metro's family plan, what's so good about is that its for a low price which is $80 for 4 members. I believe that metroPCS is the dominant one because Leap apparently is losing money or they are having Financial problems. If you have any replies please feel free to give your believe with this situation. 🙂
