how about we make everyones lives easier and simplify everything here. ๐Ÿ˜
start off with
phone name and model number,
price,
and release date.
and can you please include some info on whether or not it has wifi?
the megapixels?
all that good stuff ๐Ÿ˜

thanks guys! ๐Ÿ™‚

Well guys itit's not really that easy to answer. I live in the S Florida market where no one and I mean NO ONE knows anything until it's in there hands. I dont even want a hook up just the knowledge so I can start making my decision.
Everything I know is from boards so PLEASE dont take this as 100%. I am only researching 3 phones for myself so you will have to look up the rest since I'm not checking those out to buy ๐Ÿ˜

Remember when everybody talked about these phones coming out around Thanksgiving then pushed back just in time for Christmas then coming out for the New Year and then the end of February and now Low & Behold... May -- already the second quarter of 2009. Let me make a prediction... ummmm, pushed back just in time for Back-To-School, then Thanksgiving again.

I'm with you down here in S Florida. Rumor is that the Hint might be out of the picture. Not sure about wifi either, but what I do know is that if you know Metro long enough you know that not to get your hopes up until it's IN YOUR HANDS.
I wish I could help you out cuz I'm dieing on thee wait also. My Nokia 6265i is on it's last leg, but I wont part with it till I get something better.
Be patient sounds silly I know, but I really think we are looking at a short ttime frame maybe April the latest.

yea your right! being with metro for so long i don't really expect much from them, unfortunately. well i would like your opinion since you seem like you know what your talking about, I'm planning on buying a motorola Q9M, flash it to metro and buy the wifi card...Or just keep the phone with the regular features, I'm talking to this guy to see if he can flash it with everything, talk text MMS internet GPS, etc. what do you think? should i keep waiting and having false hopes or just get myself i quick fix?
also i agree with you on the nokia 6265i. Metro hasn't been able to beat that phone, I bought two ๐Ÿ™‚ one broke ๐Ÿ˜ข and the other one i kept, still in mint condition, in the box never been used ๐Ÿ˜Ž and for right now i have a S...

I almost did the flash thing at the flashtometropcs.com website. They guarentee their product or you get a full refund. The phones they have are unused with a clean id. I decided against it only because I was able to fix my Nokia for the 3rd time(all my fault mind you)And wait for these releases and then decide after all the reviews.
Why dont you pop open the unused Nokia get it turned on this way you have a phone that does basically everything (except speed) until you can make a sound decision on which new phone you want.
This way you dont blow a load of money on flashing or a phone your not sure of.
Thanks for the compliment, but I really only know what I do from reading these forums. I dont have $400.00 to just pop and then not like th...

Yea your right I should wait I don't have money to just throw away even though I'm a phone addict.

I don't know about popping open my nokia it's been like what about 5-6 years that I've had it โ˜น๏ธ I don't want to let it go and mess it up! Lol.

Isn't there supposedly a phone coming out this month? I'm really tired of my phone, it's not what it's made out to be, I need a PDA, what do you think about the blackberry? Idk i've never been able to understand it. Is it worth the 400$ and 70$ a month?

Are you adding tax with the $70. It's only $10 to add the data to your plan on top of the max.
I dont know if it's worth it. I am pretty set on the Samsung but I will make sure that it will be the best out there before I buy it.
I would open the new Nokia turn it on with Metro and just wait it out till your comfortable with your choice.
the Nokia can easily get you by for 2/3 months. That'sonly 60 to 90 days....You can do that can't you?
Look how long you've waited with a sub par phone? Nokia isnt high end from what's out there right now but it's better and more relable than many entry level phones released today.
