Switch an Metro Account to another account

I was wondering if it is possible for me to bring in a CDMA phone to metro PCS and have them switch my account to that phone. Will they charge a fee? Does it have to be a phone that was already on metro service?

If metropcs can flash the phone they will be able to bring it on their network with out a problem, they can also port your old number from whatever carrier you had before.

it's $30 dollars and there is a list on what phones they can flash, but from what i know they are only doing it for one month, im bringing a voyager from verizon (pre-paid) to my metro account.

yes you can bring your cdma phone to metro and use it under an existing account with existing number.
but we required 15 mins after being flashed in order to do an ESN change.
