So with all the major carriers now having unlimited plans will this be the end of Metro?

It basically comes down to this would you pay $40 more a month to have service anywhere you drove outside of whatever metro area you lived and
would you pay $40 more to have actually customer service....

I doubt it. I'm with Sprint at the moment and from what I hear Metro has better customer service. There was a rumor posted on Gizmodo the other day saying sprint is planning a $60 unlimited in order to undercut the other carriers, which if that happens then there could be problems for metro.. however that still won't include text/web like metro. And honestly, I don't think most people worry too much about the traveling ability.. I live in Northern California and could go just about anywhere I normally go on Metro's home area.

Honestly only reason I'm with Sprint still is my wife needs them for her Windows Mobile phone since she's a realtor, if Metro gets a Windows mobile phone I'll be in there that day signing up.

Well, if someone told you Metro had good customer service they sold you big bag of magic beans.
It is pretty much accepted by everyone I know and everyone I have ever meet that had Metro and ever dealer and rep for Metro that they have the worst customer service in the industry.
Seriously I had them for one year and when it worked it worked fine no problems and I use my phone alot. But when my CC date changed on my direct bill they could not get it right I went to a customer store I called and everytime they said it was taken care its like they didnt want my money. For $60 all you can talk all you can text and all you can surf at slow speeds they cant be beat but when something happens they are worthless. My daughters phone number was...

I didn't say they had good customer service, I said they have better customer service than my current carrier, Sprint. I've had Metro in the past and switched to Sprint because my wife got a decent deal on the Mogul and service which is something she needs for her Real Estate work.

I never once spent 3 hours on hold with Customer Service at Metro like I did three times with Sprint. Worst of all IMO with Sprint was that the three times I did call them, over the period of two months... I got the exact same customer service rep every time... sure makes me feel like they have a total of two people working there.

We have sprint government at work and we never have any problems with their nextel service but anyway the point here I had trouble with Metro so I switched to T-mobile.
But would other people switch to t-mobile for $40 more a month to get unlimited.
For this service how many people will switch to another service provider.

No. You all know it's not the end of MetroPCS. Just like car manufacturers... you just have a variety to choose from like GM, Ford, Toyota, Chrysler... each have something CRAPPY but they are all still in business.

Its not the end of Metro. Cause what about all those people who dont want a contract or credit check or anything. I dont see Metro going anywhere anytime soon. I mean come on with metro u dont have to use your real name or anything and its cheap.
