great news, in the coming weeks youll be able to send picture mail to almost all companies (verizon, cingular, t-mobile, virgin, nextel, bla bla bla) đ, not just metro. also detroit customers will be able to use the phone in cleveland, ohio, and some other cities sout of detroit!

i totally agree with you wombough.. its great that the smaller companies are trying and seem to be doing a good job at spreading out the network.. and usually smaller companies are way better with their customer support when comparing them to the corparate monsters like sprint, cingy verizon.. the one thing i hate is when customers come into my sprint store and ask how much my unlimited plan is, and when i tell them 199.99 per month, they get all pissy and say "Ill just go to metro where i can get unlimited everything for $45!!!" people just dont understand.... âšī¸

yeah I can understand that. But they got to understand that with 45 it may be unlimited but I bet not nationwide! Plus no roaming. No nothing. There is a company called Hargray Communications in Beaufort, SC and Savannah GA. They offer 20 a month unlimited wireless calling in their area. But don't leave their 100 square mile calling area. Its great for people that don't travel!

there is also the problem of that price, 45 dollars attracting a LOT of customers to metro to the point there are capacity issues and the voice quality dips because there are too many people on the phone at once

yeah the company I said before has a major issue. Most of the time with their prepay you can't make a call. And their post pay plans are getting the same way. I rather pay and not have to worry when I want to make a call if it will happen on the first try or 10th!
